Health centre furniture for Edmonton Green

David Bailey Furniture Systems has provided the fitted furniture for Edmonton Green Primary Care Health Centre to a value of around £50,000.

Huntingdon-based contractor Dean & Bowes (Contracts) Ltd has installed the Healthline fitted furniture range, which includes units, worktop, shelving and special desks, which have been laminate faced with solid timber lipping to exposed edges.

David Bailey Furniture provided Health Centre furniture for a variety of areas, including:

• treatment rooms

• phlebotomy

• dirty and clean utility

• WCs

• eight GP rooms

• administration and records room

• nurse rooms

• health clinic group room

• tea point, reception and staff room

• GP training room

• Podiatry

• rash lab

• SLT group

• pod utility

• therapy administration

• school screening office

• child guidance

• dental reception.

The worktops are 40mm bullnose post-formed laminate with post-formed moulded up-stand and laminate beech fascia.

The health centre furniture project is part of a £100 million redevelopment of Edmonton Green, which involves the construction of a new food store, retail units, 170 residential apartments, bus station, leisure centre and bingo hall, as well as the health centre.
