One-Stop Move For Furniture And
Fittings (FF&E) Provider

furniture specialist David Bailey Furniture Systems is expanding
to additionally supply fixtures, fittings and equipment (FF&E)
for contracts in the hospital, healthcare and education sectors,
alongside its established, market-leading fitted furniture and bespoke
joinery.
This turnkey approach will enable architects,
contractors and specifiers to benefit from using a single source
for a complete furniture and fittings service. The company will
offer two service packages; ‘Group One supply and install’
and ‘Group Two installation-only’, to meet the differing
needs of individual contracts.
According to Trevor Gillman, managing director
of David Bailey Furniture, “Contractors are increasingly looking
for a single supplier and point of contact – a one-stop-shop
approach – and our capability and 25 year track record with
the supply and installation of fitted furniture puts us in an ideal
position to manage the entire fixtures, fittings and equipment package
too.
“We have always provided a very flexible
service. Consequently, our bespoke fitted furniture specialisation
has also grown rapidly over the years alongside orders for our Healthline
range of wall and floor standing units, so this is an inevitable
progression. We are also currently expanding our manufacturing base
in Kent this Spring and an extension to our premises will provide
a 20% increase in manufacturing space ready for further growth.”
David Bailey Furniture won the competitive bid
for a current £500,000 contract at Basildon Hospital. The
company was appointed to manufacture, supply and fit a range of
specialised furniture and extensive list of fixtures and fittings
for the five-floor cardio-thoracic centre at the hospital.
The furniture includes units, worktops, shelving,
storage systems, all counters and reception desks whilst the fixtures
and fittings extend to include mirrors, hooks, soap and glove dispensers
and a variety of specialist equipment items.
