Top marks for classroom furniture
 Rokesly Infant School in Haringey, north London,
is the latest school to register top marks for David Bailey Furniture
Systems fitted classroom furniture.
Cupboards, worktops, storage units and bookcases were selected
from our Education range in different colours and finishes for
use throughout the school, including:
• nine classrooms
• food bay
• staff room
• welfare room
• general office
• ICT room
• photocopier room
• SEN/rap/groups
• cleaner’s room
• group room
Specified by T&B Contractors of St.
Albans, Hertfordshire, the contract for Rokesly School included;
units, worktops, shelving and a special coat hanger unit for
each classroom, consisting of a long, open wall unit with coat
hooks fitted underneath.
Classroom furniture manufacture
The furniture was manufactured using a grey MFC carcass with PVC-edged
doors and drawers and a laminated plinth. Each room is finished
in a different colour and worktops are 40mm post-formed laminate
and 40mm bullnose laminate with a beech fascia.
