David Bailey Furniture Systems has recently completed work on Yateley Community School in Hampshire, carrying out major refurbishment works to the school’s food technology classrooms worth approximately £32,000.
David Bailey, utilising more than 30 years of experience manufacturing fitted school and classroom furniture, has installed 15 mini kitchen workstations in three food technology classrooms at Yateley School, the largest secondary school in North East, teaching over 1500 students, aged from 11 to 16.
As part of the work carried out by David Bailey, its operatives arrived on site before the project began to meet the client and to plan ideas for the areas due to be refurbished. David Bailey aided in the design of the 15 mini kitchen workstations, in the three separate classrooms, working in conjunction with members of Yateley School staff to create an educational environment for students that is both practical and inspirational.
Each of the three classrooms is fitted with five individual kitchen workstations, in five cheerful colour tones of red, green, orange, blue and yellow, creating a bright and vibrant learning environment for Yateley students. Pale grey worktops were also fitted; the hue was chosen to compliment the colour scheme.
Andy Moffett, Caretaker at Yateley School, said: “We are really pleased with our new food technology rooms, they provide the students with a superb resource. We can’t speak highly enough of the David Bailey team who have created a wonderful learning environment for students.”
